Some Locations will contain Events that occur upon entering the room. Of them, only the Trial of the Gods is shown in the Door Preview.
Artemis[edit | edit source]
Artemis will occasionally show up in Erebus and Oceanus. She cannot show up more than once per night.
Nemesis[edit | edit source]
Nemesis will occasionally show up in Erebus and the Fields of Mourning. She cannot show up more than once per night.
Icarus[edit | edit source]
Icarus will occasionally show up in the Rift of Thessaly. He cannot show up more than once per night.
Heracles[edit | edit source]
Heracles will occasionally show up in Surface Regions. He cannot show up more than once per night.
Trial of the Gods[edit | edit source]
This event gives a choice between the 
Boons of two different Olympian Gods. Upon picking a Boon, the Encounter begins. Whichever god is rejected will become angry and attack you. Upon defeating all foes, the Encounter ends, and the rejected god will calm down and grant you their Boon as well.
Each god has a unique attack pattern. The difficulty of avoiding this can vary Region to Region - for instance, 
Poseidon attacks with a blue water sphere which can be harder to recognize in Oceanus.
Cocooned Chamber[edit | edit source]
Sometimes a room in Erebus or Oceanus will be filled with various sized cocoons. Each cocoon can contain the Chamber Reward, foes, a landmine which explodes for damage, or nothing. Unlike a normal Encounter, the enemies do not need to be killed to receive the reward - it is simply a matter of guessing the correct cocoon.
Large cocoons often contain Elite Foes with armor.
Fountain Chamber[edit | edit source]
These can be encountered after each Guardian. There are also Incantations to allow them to spawn Mid-Region. The fountain heals for ??? 
Health. There are no foes to fight; this is a chance to catch your breath and relax.
