Nocturnal Arms are Weapons that Melinoë wields to fight her enemies.
At the start of the game only Witch's Staff is available, but other weapons can be unlocked by crafting in The Crossroads in the Silver Pool.
Each weapon have unique combat style and set of upgrades that can be done using 
Daedalus Hammer.
Depending on the moon phase one of the weapons will be imbued by Great Thirst with the ability to get +2 
Bones per collecting Location reward during the current run.

This is a full list of available Weapons in Hades 2. Unlocking additional weapons will require Resources that can be harvested during the runs. It will cost 19 
Silver, 3 
Cinder, 1 
Bronze and 2 
Glassrock to unlock all the Nocturnal Arms.
Slash with furious Attacks, or strike from afar with a flurry of Specials.
Launch damaging ranged Attacks as you move, or Specials that orbit around you.
Deliver slow but devastating Attacks, or defend and retaliate with your Specials.
Blast foes with explosive Attacks, and retrieve the Shells with lunging Specials.
