Shrines of Hermes are found on the Surface after an Incantation, and are similar to the Wells of Charon in the Underworld. They add a random delay before each item is delivered, shown during the purchasing window. This delay can be bypassed by paying a substantial amount extra for Express Delivery. Also unlike the Wells, Shrines of Hermes only sell permanent upgrades, not temporary boons.
Shrine of Hermes Wares[edit | edit source]
Each Shrine of Hermes offers 3 random options for sale. Delivery Time is randomly 1-5 Encounters. Items with lower Delivery Time cost more up front, but have cheaper Express Delivery fees such that the total price for immediately delivery is always the same.
Currently it appears that a Delivery Time of 1 Encounter leads to double the initial price of 5 Encounters.
The Express Delivery fee is the total price minus whatever was paid up-front.
