Hecate is a Titan and also known as the Witch of the Crossroads. She acts as a mentor and teacher for Melinoë.

When Chronos took over the House of Hades Hecate rescued three things: Hypnos because he was there, Melinoë and the picture of the familiy of Hades that can be found in Melinoë's Tent in The Crossroads.

Understandable. Yet how many times must she tell you she is not your mother? She, who taught you much of what you know, other than that which is already in your heart.
Remember that she has taught you, trained you only for one particular purpose. Should you somehow achieve it, only then may you begin to learn all that she could never possibly teach.

Hecate appears as a final boss of the Erebus Region. She tests Melinoë for her ability to fight against the upcoming threats to make sure she is ready to face
