Major Finds are usually found as room clear rewards. These rooms are less common at the start of the run, and become progressively more frequent as Melinoë progresses. See Reward Selection for more details on the exact process used to determine Major Finds and how Dice can affect that process.

Locations[edit | edit source]

In the Fields of Mourning, Door Previews will show all Major Finds in the next Location. Each Major Find must be unsealed, triggering an Encounter and spawning enemies. The reward can only be collected once the Encounter ends and all spawned enemies are defeated. Once all rewards have been collected, the door(s) will unlock and Melinoë can advance to the next Location. These Locations also include additional Enemies, often guarding unlisted Minor Finds; they do not need to be defeated to earn rewards or leave the zone.

The Fields of Mourning and the bonus rooms in City of Ephyra can sometimes contain small versions of Centaur Heart (5), Soul Tonic (5), and Golden Crowns (20) can be found. These are worth only 20% of their normal value. These are not marked on Door Previews and do not trigger an encounter. They are each pulled from their own unique Reward Bag.

The Golden Bough in the Fields of Mourning will reveal the location of both Major Finds (Gold) and Minor Finds (Silver).

In Tartarus, Centaur Heart and Soul Tonic Encounter Rewards are doubled, while Golden Crowns and Pom of Power are tripled. These rewards are pulled from a unique Reward Bag reserved for Tartarus, rather than the standard Major Find Bag.

Doors[edit | edit source]

• When using Dice, Major Find rooms can only reroll into other Major Finds.
  • This includes Centaur Heart, Soul Tonic, Pom of Power, Golden Crowns, Boon and Daedalus Hammer
  • This also includes the Trial of the Gods.
• Boon rewards from Mini-Boss Encounters have better odds of being higher rarity
  • Charon's Shop in Tartarus also sells upgraded Boons.

Relevant Boons[edit | edit source]

• Hermes's Boon Quick Buck increases Golden Crowns gained from all sources.
• Poseidon's Boon Double Up currently affects many Major Finds (despite the description)
• The Arcana Card The Artificer can be used to upgrade Minor Finds into these.
• Anything which affects Max Health will also affect Centaur Heart
• Anything which affects Max Magick will also affect Soul Tonic
